Alexander McQueen F/W 2011

McQueen, one of my favourite brands now and then! Sarah Burton's moved forward with her collection 'the ice queen and her court' for Alexander McQueen F/W 2011 in Paris Fashion Week. Every piece of the collection seemed classic, yet as whole it was futuristic. Some of the items felt a little excessive, however the styling—pale makeup and the dense hair pieces—represented the dignity of the 'ice queen' oddly well.... as the usual McQueen. The dress torso made of fragments of pottery, chiffon skit with countless leather strings and zips.... The show was at Conciergerie, where Marie-Antoinette was jailed. Oh well, where could've been a better place for this kookiness?
